A new version of forumify/forumify-milhq-plugin is available.

    1.3.0:

    • add groups to ranks, awards and qualifications
    • add dedicated form statuses, separate from soldier statuses
    • add images to specialties, shown on the roster
    • add a REST API for MILHQ under /api/milhq/
    • add "View Mission" and "View Class" links on combat and qualification records
    • add combat records and qualification records that stay in sync when you edit an after action report or class report
    • make rank abbreviation and paygrade optional
    • sort secondary positions by unit and position on the personnel file
    • use forumify's new upload input for all image and file uploads, including file fields in forms (allows delete for nullable file inputs)
    • fix viewing an after action report requiring the "manage" permission instead of "view"
    • fix course classes being deletable without the right course permission
    • fix errors when the calendar or discord plugin is installed but not activated

    Rank, Award and Qualification Groups

You can now put ranks, awards and qualifications into groups (e.g. "Enlisted" / "Officers", "Medals" / "Ribbons"). Each group gets its own tab on the frontend. Items without a group go to an "Ungrouped" tab, so your current setup keeps working. On the roster, soldiers are sorted by rank group first, then by rank.

    Form Statuses vs Soldier Statuses

Forms and soldiers no longer share one status list:

    - Soldier statuses are still under Organization → Statuses.

    - Form statuses are set per form, on the form's admin page.

The update copies all your existing statuses to every form, so nothing breaks. After updating, go through each form and delete the statuses it doesn't need. Then delete any form-only statuses (like "Pending") from your soldier statuses.

    Records Linked to Their Origin

Combat records from an AAR and qualification records from a class report now link back to that mission or class. Editing the report updates its records, and deleting the report deletes them. The update links existing records where it can find a confident match.

    After Action Report Permissions

    - Viewing an AAR now requires "View After Action Reports" instead of "Manage".

    - Editing or deleting an AAR now always requires "Manage After Action Reports". Before, the person who wrote it could do this without that permission.

    API

All MILHQ data is available under /api/milhq/. Courses and operations need premium. The API uses the same permissions as the website, and writes have the same side effects as the admin panel.
